ember.finance ("we," "us," or "the platform") is an anonymous peer support space for finance professionals to share experiences related to workplace burnout and mental wellbeing. By accessing or using this site, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").
You must be at least 18 years old to use this platform. By using ember.finance, you represent that you meet this requirement.
ember.finance does not require you to create an account or provide any personally identifiable information. Stories are submitted and identified only by a randomly generated token. We do not link your content to your identity.
You are responsible for keeping your story token private. We cannot recover lost tokens or verify story ownership without one.
You retain copyright in any story or comment you submit to ember.finance.
By submitting content, you grant ember.finance a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute your content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, without notice.
If you wish to have your story removed, contact us at [email protected] with your story token. We will action valid requests within 14 days.
The ember.finance name, logo, design, and original written content (excluding user submissions) are the intellectual property of ember.finance and may not be reproduced without written permission.
ember.finance is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful content submitted by users.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ember.finance and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to reliance on user-submitted stories or comments.
Our use of any data we collect is governed by our Privacy Policy. In brief: we do not collect personally identifiable information. We may collect anonymised usage analytics (e.g. page views) to improve the platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York.
